Last Friday evening, Editor in Chief Margaret Russell hosted a cocktail party in honor of Valentino Garavani and his October cover story at the home of Susan and John Gutfreund. The elegant setting served as the perfect complement to the chinoiserie-themed pigeonnier at Valentino’s château in France, featured in the issue, as Gutfreund and he were both longtime clients and friends of the legendary designer Henri Samuel. Partygoers included Sarah Jessica Parker, Martha Stewart, Larry Gagosian, Tory Burch, André Balazs, Victoria Hagan, Vicente Wolf, Richard Mishaan, Jamie Drake, and Nate Berkus.
